J Dhillon is a multi-award winning, independent Asian wedding photographer based in London. He works with clients both on-site and in the studio to produce artistic images that truly capture the beauty of the occasion.

The Project:

The photography market has become increasingly competitive over the last few years, therefore the client required SEO to improve and increase search engine rankings and organic traffic on a regional and national basis.

The Strategy:

In order to capitalise on the fierce competition within the photography market in the search engines, we set a very focused and clear SEO campaign.

The first step was to identify targeted keywords relevant to the client’s website and services. Given the competition we knew we had to focus on more specific keywords to bring in the traffic which would convert into enquiries. Once these were finalised our team proceeded with the full website optimisations and technical review. We followed up with the off-site work. This included a high quality and industry focused link building.

The Results:

The combination of having a user-friendly website and strategic SEO plan lead J Dhillon Photography’s website to great positions in Google and Bing search engines. The client is now being found on the first page for the majority of their target keywords, mostly ranked in the 1-3 keyword rank range. What’s more, the website also now shows national positions as well as regional ones. We have achieved this under our SEO Rank 2 package, designed to target a local audience.

The positions have also translated to an increase in organic traffic coming to the site. Since renewing the service with 123 Ranking, J Dhillon Photography’s organic website traffic has increased by 32% as compared to the previous year. We have managed to help the client to increase his business as he has been able to provide photography services not only in London but all over the UK.
